Graduates work in a variety of private or clinical settings, which may include:
- Client residences
- Long-term care facilities
- Home support agencies
- Nursing home facilities/Home for the aged
Northwood employs provincially certified CCAs in long-term care (facility), home care (community), adult day, supportive / assistive living, and health services. Northwood Career College graduates will work with our HR Recruiters for CCA positions once they have successfully completed their clinical skills placement and their first mentorship placement. Our HR recruiters will help students in the hiring process in starting their rewarding careers at Northwood.
