MOVE YOUR WAY FOR NORTHWOOD
Every September is Dignified Living Month at Northwood and this year would have been the 10th annual fundraiser in support of this fund. But, due to COVID-19, this year’s fundraiser will take place virtually in the new, Move YOUR Way for Northwood campaign. We hope you will help us spread awareness of the importance of dignity in our vulnerable populations – and raise money for Northwood’s Dignified Living Fund.
The History of Northwood's Dignified Living Fund
Northwood's Dignified Living Fund is a staff-led initiative that helps struggling members of our Northwood Community get the basic medical and lifestyle supports they need to live with more dignity and respect.
This initiative started in 2010 after recognizing that residents and clients were going without items and services necessary to maintain dignity and quality of life.
This fund allows Northwood to see and respond to the needs of our community to immediately make a positive change in someone's life.
We recognized we couldn't bring a large group together for our usual fundraiser this year, but understood that this fundraiser still NEEDED to happen, for the sake of the people in our community. So, we put our heads together and came up with an online campaign which allows the Northwood Community to unite, virtually, while still raising the important funds for Northwood's Dignified Living Fund.
Please help us bring the power of dignity to people in need through your donations and by joining us online in our Move Your Way for Northwood Campaign.
Every move makes a difference. Every donation helps our people live more with dignity and respect.
